Where Faith and Knowledge Meet.

Mission Statement:
St. Bernard's School, with its proud Roman Catholic heritage, is committed to promoting academic excellence, individual responsibility, and spiritual awareness in relationship with God and others.

Our school is unique! In addition to being strong in the academic areas, we can offer an excellent Catholic religion program tied in with daily teachings and values. Every Monday morning students assemble in the gym for a prayer service (prepared and presented by one grade) and value awards and birthday cards are presented for the week. Students learn about weekly events and the opportunity is present to remind students of faith values and practices/traditions important to their faith in school, family and community. They also receive a better understanding of the Liturgy, devotions to Mary and the Saints, Advent and Lent to mention a few aspects of our Catholic faith.

Grades one, three and five are smaller classes. If you like the idea of smaller classes for your child and in addition, not only want a strong academic education but desire that your child learn more about his/her Catholic faith, please call the school office for an appointment with Ms. Marlowe, School Principal. There is financial help with tuition. This should never be a reason for not attending St. Bernard's School. Tuition assistance is received from the Bishop's Fund, Sisters of St. Joseph, Catholic Daughters, and many friends.
